🌱planting those seeds

Here are a few highlights from this past week-

1. On Monday sister Steiner and I went exploring!
2. There was an ice storm this week and we literally had to chisel the ice off of our car so we could make it to district meeting on time. We were almost late because of the extra time it took, but as we were pulling into the Church building in Normal, sister Steiner saw a man walking his dog and said "can we contact him?" So we did! And we gave him a Book of Mormon! And then we sprinted into district meeting right on time. Haha
3.On Friday night I was feeling  a little bit down. Just some of those end of mission blues. But the lord is aware of all of us. I know this because right as I was feeling sad we got a text from Brother Hurst who is in our bishopric. I know that the lord wants us to be happy and he will even send someone to give you cinnamon rolls at 9:30 pm just because he loves you.
4.Sister Steiner and I found a super cool park right across the river from Peoria. We heard about sister young and her companion starting up a conversation with someone by just asking if they would take a picture of them and so we thought we would try it! And it worked! Haha this is the picture Kevin took for us.

Life is really great here in the ILLINOIS CHICAGO WEST MISSION!

Love you all,
Sister Hannah Corbett
